Grand Finale Week for the Citizens Law Enforcement Academy in partnership with Boerne Police Department and Kendall County Sheriffs Office.

Last night was graduation, and what an incredible night it was. We started the evening with an amazing fajita dinner with all the fixings from Hungry Horse, generously provided by Hope for Heroes Boerne.

We then had the privilege of hearing remarks from Chief Perez, Chief Smith, and Sheriff Auxier before closing out the evening by reflecting on our time together, the relationships built, and everything learned throughout the academy.

The night concluded with the presentation of graduation certificates to this year’s class.

What an amazing class we had this year. We are so proud of each and every graduate and grateful for the time they committed to learning more about law enforcement and the men and women who serve.

📱 Traffic Tip Tuesday 📱

That notification, text, photo, or post can wait.

Before snapping a picture, checking social media, or replying to a message, make sure your vehicle is safely parked first. A few seconds of distracted driving can have life-changing consequences.

Keep your eyes on the road, your hands on the wheel, and your focus where it belongs. Arrive safely and save the posts for when you park.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything to protect them. We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful. 🇺🇸

🏍️ Traffic Tip Tuesday 🏍️

With the warmer weather and sunshine sticking around, you’ll likely start seeing more motorcycles out on the road. As more riders enjoy the nice weather, now is a good reminder for everyone to stay alert and share the road safely.

Drivers: take an extra second to check your mirrors and blind spots. Motorcycles can be easy to miss.
Riders: stay visible, ride defensively, and never assume a driver sees you.

Look twice, stay aware, and help keep everyone safe. Check twice. Save a life.

This week, members of the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department had the honor of attending the Kendall County Peace Officers Memorial Service to stand alongside our regional public safety partners in remembering the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

Memorial events like this serve as an important reminder of the courage, commitment, and selfless service carried by those who wear the badge. We are grateful to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for hosting this meaningful tribute and for bringing our public safety community together in remembrance.
