The 2026-27 North Star College annual enrollment lottery is now open to eligible students! The lottery is open from Jan. 6 through Feb. 23, 2026.

Students enrolled will earn a FNSBSD high school diploma from North Star College and college credits towards a certificate or a degree.

North Star Middle College is a partnership between the school district and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Juniors and seniors complete college coursework while attending high school–earning their high school diploma and college credits towards a certificate or degree.

Students are accepted into North Star Middle College by submitting an application and going through the lottery process.

The ATIA Foundation provides 1-year scholarships to students enrolled or who intend to enroll in a program of study related to a career in tourism. Eligible high school and college students from across Alaska are encouraged to apply!
