🌟 PBS Champion Spotlight: Residential Team
This team has shown us what Positive Behavior Supports looks like when you truly meet someone where they are.
When a new individual joined their home, the team faced the challenge of learning how to best support someone with very specific preferences, routines, and ideas about how he wanted to live. There were certainly challenges along the way, but the team never gave up. They listened, learned, negotiated, and adapted their approach to better meet his needs.
Today, that individualized support has made a tremendous difference in his quality of life. From preparing foods he enjoys, honoring his cultural background, and remembering his favorite color, to making sure his personal preferences are respected, the team has found meaningful ways to show him that he is heard, valued, and cared for.
Their patience, creativity, and commitment to understanding the why behind the behavior truly embody PBS. We’re proud to recognize this incredible team as PBS Champions! 👏💙
