📚 Celebrating Academic Success at Lake Forest High School! 💙🤍🩵
We are incredibly proud to share that Lake Forest High School has been recognized by the Delaware Department of Education for our sustained growth on the SAT over the past two years!
Secretary of Education Cindy Marten highlighted LFHS in the state’s recent press release celebrating schools demonstrating continued academic progress, and she gave our Spartans another special shout-out during Thursday evening’s Delaware State Board of Education meeting. We are honored to have the hard work happening in our classrooms recognized at the state level.
Through the hard work and commitment of our students and staff, Lake Forest High School now ranks among the top third of all high schools in Delaware for SAT performance. This progress represents so much more than data. It represents students working hard, teachers continually refining their practice, and an entire school community committed to excellence and believing that growth is always possible.
A huge THANK YOU to our students, teachers, staff, families and guardians, Board of Education, Dr. Lucas, and the entire Lake Forest community. We also want to thank our elementary schools, middle school, and District Office for the important role they play in supporting our students throughout their entire Lake Forest journey. Success at the high school is built on the foundation created across our entire district, and we could not do this without all of you. This recognition belongs to everyone who shows up each day believing in our students and supporting their success.
And we aren’t finished! We have more work to do together, more growth ahead—and plenty more fun to have along the way! 💙🤍🩵
