Thank you to everyone who came out to the End of Summer Bash! We had a great time meeting everyone and watching so many of you take on our JENGA challenge!

A special thank you to everyone who played, and to Paul Hertz for stopping by and joining in on the fun. We loved seeing the community come together and hope you had as much fun as we did!

🏎🍦🏎 Just a few notes for our Cruise In tonight, 8/28:

🌧️ Weather Update: We’re watching the weather closely and will make a decision by 2pm today IF we are not having the show, as of right now, everything is full steam ahead!

-Starts at 5:30pm.
-All rides welcome (hot rods, show cars, antique cars, race cars, motorcycles, whatever your unique ride is).
-The ice cream trailer will be in its normal location.
-The main, paved parking lot at the firehouse will be open to display your ride. The lot behind the ice cream trailer will be open as normal.
-Anyone who is bringing a vehicle to display, after unloading, please park your truck/trailer/rig either in the stone parking lot behind the firehouse or the east side parking lot by the firehouse.
-We will have a couple Vendors set up by the ice cream trailer.
-Be sure to use the designated and supervised cross walk when crossing the street.
-There will be some give aways and a 50/50.
-No entry fees or awards will be given. It’s just a night to get together and enjoy community.

We’re excited to share that Mike Harmon, who is a member of the East Coast Vintage Racing Association - ECVRA will be bringing his 1955 Buick race car tonight! This will be its first public appearance! 🏁

New classes at Delaware State Fire School are starting soon, making this the perfect time to take the first step toward becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMS provider.

As a volunteer, you’ll receive free training, have access to scholarship opportunities, qualify for the State Volunteer Firefighter Tax Credit, meet new people and make a meaningful difference in your community.

Don’t forget! Our Annual Quarter Auction is this Sunday! 🌟

Doors open at 1:00 PM, so grab your quarters and get ready to bid on some great prizes! We’ll have tons of baskets and prizes up for auction, including designer bags, tools, car care items, classroom essentials, self care goodies, home décor, and more!

The deadline to reserve a paddle in advance is end of day today. Paddles will also be available for purchase at the door on Sunday. Be sure to check out our event page, where we’ll be posting even more prize options leading up to the auction!
