As begins, now is a great time for students and families to prepare for a successful start to the new school year.

The Department of War Education Activity is implementing updated expectations for personal electronic devices in schools. To support focused, engaging, and safe learning environments, students will be expected to keep personal devices—including phones, smartwatches, tablets, and similar electronics—silenced and stored during the school day.

Exceptions remain in place for medical needs, 504 plans, special education services, and approved instructional activities.

Families can help by discussing these expectations before the first day of school and reinforcing the importance of staying engaged in learning while at school. Thank you for partnering with us to create classrooms where every student can thrive.

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, our staff came together to celebrate some very special members of the Kingsolver family. 💙

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to our retirees — Ms. Walker, Ms. Sankey, and Ms. Keedwell — for their years of dedication, service, and impact on countless students and families. Your legacy will continue to be felt for years to come!

We also want to wish the very best to Ms. Wiater, Ms. Fairbanks, and Ms. Boldt as they begin exciting new chapters ahead. While you will be greatly missed, we are cheering you on in all that comes next.

What a fantastic Field Day at Kingsolver! ☀️🎉

A huge shoutout to Dr. Kewin for all of the planning, organization, and ex*****on that made Tuesday such a success. Your hard work created a fun and memorable day for our students!

Thank you as well to our amazing PTO for your support and to all of the wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy to help everything run smoothly. We truly could not do events like this without our incredible school community.

From relay races to laughter and teamwork, it was a day full of smiles and school spirit! 💙💛

Last week, our Kingsolver Elementary 1st graders took the stage for their annual Patriotic Program, and they absolutely shined! 🇺🇸❤️

Students shared America’s story through songs, narration, and performances celebrating freedom, patriotism, and the history of our nation. From big smiles and waving flags to proud voices singing on stage, it was a night to remember for students, families, and staff alike.

Our students worked so hard preparing for this performance, and their confidence and excitement were evident in every moment. Mrs. Sandy Love shared that her favorite part of the evening is “seeing the kids so excited and their proud parents.” She also reflected on the importance of helping students understand patriotism from a young age, sharing, “Patriotism is part of our curriculum, so this makes it come to life.”

We are so proud of our 1st graders and thankful to our teachers and families for helping make this meaningful tradition such a success. ❤️🤍💙
