The USO supports our nation’s service members and their families, wherever the mission takes them.

When service members are deployed to answer an urgent call to duty, the USO can respond quickly to meet their evolving needs.

From ship-based Centers to care packages delivered to those in remote locations, we are there, thanks to the unwavering commitment of USO staff and volunteers.

World events can also impact military families, so we want to remind family members that they can turn to the USO for vital resources and to connect with each other.

We encourage people to visit USO.org to locate a USO Center, find out how to volunteer or donate to the USO, or send a message of thanks to the people who serve.

Since August 2023, Leader, a gentle and loving Rottweiler and her devoted handler, Renice, have given more than 136.5 hours of pure love and support through the USO Canine Therapy Dog program. From deployment send-offs to homecomings, from comforting children at TAPS Good Grief Camp to standing by soldiers preparing for the unknown, Leader is always there, offering warmth, strength, and the kind of love only a furry friend can provide.

✅Her soft fur has caught countless tears, and her gentle presence lifts spirits.
✅She’s often seen pulling a little red wagon full of giggling children!
