This week, we took an exciting step to improve food allergy safety by passing the House version of my bill, Elijah's Law, out of the Senate and to the Governor's desk.

The bill is named in honor of 3-year-old Elijah Silvera, who tragically died due to an extreme allergic reaction at his childcare facility. Our legislation will give daycare providers across PA the essential tools, training and resources necessary to effectively respond to allergy emergencies and keep kids safe.

When we send our children to school, their safety and wellbeing must be put first. In this year's budget, we secured an additional $47M in safety, security and mental health grants for schools across the Commonwealth.

Over the last four years, these funds have allowed 800+ schools to expand access to mental health services. That's a win for PA students and families.

Our goal with the Senior Hub is to make it easier for older adults to access resources and services that can help them save money, connect with neighbors and plan for the future.

3: Put that in the outer return envelope and sign and date it.
