Step behind the badge and gain an inside look at modern policing through this engaging 10-week program. Designed exclusively for Upper Dublin residents, the Citizens Police Academy provides participants with a firsthand understanding of the Department's operations, specialized units, and the training, decision-making, and responsibilities that shape police work.
Through interactive presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, participants will develop a greater appreciation for the skills, professionalism, and commitment required to serve the community. The program also strengthens partnerships between the Police Department and the residents it serves by fostering communication, transparency, and mutual understanding.
To be considered for the program, applicants must be 1) an Upper Dublin Township resident, 2) at least 18 years of age, and 3) pass a background check.
Due to space limitation, only first-time participants will be considered (no former CPA graduates).
