🥾 Happy National Trails Day! Every trail tells a story and every step forward is a chance to connect with nature, your community, and yourself. A huge shoutout to our amazing partners at Mariposa Trails for helping keep our paths beautiful and accessible for everyone.

Together, we're building stronger communities, one trail at a time. This June 6th, lace up your boots, get outside, and celebrate the trails that bring us all together!

Partner Highlight: Girl Scouts Service Unit 17 in Visalia

For the past two years, the incredible Girl Scouts of Service Unit 17 have poured their hearts into supporting our Valentines for Veterans and Christmas in July card making events. This year, SU 17 took it even further they opened their Christmas in July event to all Mid Valley Service Units, creating the largest Girl Scout card making event our partnership has seen.

These girls show up with creativity, compassion, and a deep commitment to honoring our Veterans. Their dedication reminds us that when girls lead with purpose, amazing things happen.

Thank you, Service Unit 17, for showing what it means to make the world a better place one heartfelt card at a time!

Volunteer Highlight 🌟

Meet Ginny! For the past two years, Ginny has been a dedicated volunteer at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, where she serves at the information booth helping travelers navigate our community. A retired elementary school teacher, Ginny has always had a heart for others and continues to pour that passion into giving back. We are so grateful to have her on our team!

Did you know that the information booth at Fresno Yosemite International Airport is entirely volunteer led by our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers? Their commitment to serving our community does not go unnoticed, and we are honored to recognize each and every one of them.

Thank you, Ginny, and all of our volunteers, for making a difference every single day. 💙

A whole lot of heart showed up in Fresno. 💙

Today HandsOn Central California, the Fresno Police Department, Council Vice President Tyler Maxwell’s staff, Total Concept Enterprises, Inc., Fresno Unified School District and the Healthy Room Project came together to transform three bedrooms for a District 4 family navigating deep loss. Five kids now have bright, safe, hope‑filled spaces to rest, learn, and grow.

Fresh paint. New beds. New desk. Personalized touches. Shoutout to .eats for feeding the volunteer team today! Community at its best. ✨

Grateful for every volunteer, every partner, and every act of generosity that made this possible.
