There are still more chances to contribute to this one-of-a-kind community art project! We're collaborating with the City of Fridley on something big.

Drop by Creative Flow between 12:30 – 3pm for the next several Fridays (8/28, 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25) to create a tile that will be enjoyed in this public park for generations to come.

Calling all bird-watchers! We've got two fabulous bird-centered courses coming right up this September: our single-day Monoprint Bird workshop with Angie Renee and our multi-week Loon Mosaic workshop with Sushila Anderson!

While similarly themed, these classes explore two distinctly different techniques. Choose whichever class is calling your name... or challenge yourself to both!

This is your brain on Surrealism! Get your September started off right with our upcoming Intro to Three-Dimensional Painting course. Paul Fosaaen will introduce students ages 18+ to the practice of "involuntary sculpture" through the lens of mindfulness, and students will walk away a 8 x 10" multi-surface painting.

Date: 3 Thursdays - 9/3, 9/10, 9/17

What does it mean to remove a barrier? They can be visible or invisible. They can be physical, emotional, social, cultural, economic, environmental, or personal. Some are built by systems, others by circumstance, and some exist only until someone finds the courage to challenge them.

We invite artists of all backgrounds and experience levels to explore the theme Removing Barriers through original artwork. This show is on display at Creative Flow Art Center from September 19th through October 31st with an opening reception on September 24th from 6pm to 8pm.

We've got another hands-on camp with Angie Renee coming up this September! In our Vitality 3-Week Nature Printmaking class, you’ll explore a variety of techniques like linocut while incorporating the beautiful textures, shapes, and patterns found all around us. This class is geared for people 55+, but any adult can register.

Date: Tuesdays - 9/1, 9/8, 9/15

Time: 9:30am - 12pm

Are you more of an oil pastel or colored pencil fan? Kids have the chance to explore nature drawing through both mediums during the week of 8/24 with Sushila Anderson!

From 8/25–8/26, join our Minnesota Nature camp to draw wildflowers and explore the world around us. Then from 8/27–8/28, bring your favorite animals to life in our Animals in Colored Pencil camp!

Looking for a break from the August heat? Come inside during the week of 8/17 and take a creative adventure!
