Tonight is the night for the budget vote! Please join us at 7pm in the Molly Ockett School Gym. Here is a run down for the meeting works:

When you arrive you will locate your town's table and register there. They will give you a voting card. The meeting will start with Jay welcoming everyone, asking people to join in stating the “Pledge of Allegiance,” and providing a very quick context for the budget.

The first order of official business is to elect a moderator. Once a moderator is elected Jay will swear them in and the moderator will swear in the town clerks. Then we will get started on the warrant process.

At this point, the moderator will take us through each of the sixteen articles. For each article, the moderator will ask for a motion and second, and then there will be an opportunity for discussion. A vote will be called and then we will continue this process until we have made our way through each warrant.

See you all tonight at 7pm!

Dear Families and Community Members,

Last week, Administrators presented important information about the budget and the school districts goals for next year at each school. They highlighted the hard work the school board has already done to evaluate and trim the budget, minimizing the impact of a state shortfall in the funding formula while still providing a quality education to our children.

The slides for these presentations are available on the website and linked here. The presentations are similar, but adjusted to reflect relevant data for each school and town(s). Other budget documents are also available.

As always, If you have any questions, reach out to your local school board representative or our Superintendent,Jay Robinson, at [email protected].

Please join us to vote on the school board budget on May 27, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Molly Ockett School.

Dear Families and Community Members:

Last Wednesday, the Board of Directors voted to approve a draft of the FY27 (2026-2027) Budget that will be voted upon later this month at the District Budget Meeting (May 27 th at 7:00 in the Molly Ockett large gym). The Board will be signing the official warrants later today.

Now that the supporting documentation for the budget is complete, the line-item budgets and many other resources have been posted to the website for you to review. Our goal was to provide everyone with ample time to review the budget that they will be voting on in advance of the meeting.

If you have any specific questions regarding the budget, you can contact your town representative to the Board or you can also email the superintendent directly at [email protected] and they/he will respond to your questions.
