Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva continues to serve her community entering in her fourth term as the California State Assembly Representative of the 65th Assembly District. Her top priority is addressing the housing and homelessness crisis throughout California. As Chair of the Select Committee on Orange County Homelessness and Mental Health Services, she has taken an active approach in advocating
for new legislation addressing these concerns. Furthermore, she serves on the California Housing and Community Development Committee reviewing legislation to support more affordable housing development throughout the state. As the Chair of Assembly Arts, Entertainment, Tourism, Sports, and Internet Media she continues to take on new challenges and address a return for many of our tourist attractions such as theme parks, entertainment venues, and art museums. A teacher for over thirty years, Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva continues to bring practical and strategic solutions to complex issues facing our state and local community.
