Please join us Monday, August 17 for a brief ceremony before Council meetings to close our tenure at 200 S. Hamilton Road.
The community is invited to join us on Monday, August 17 as Gahanna City Council holds its final meeting at City Hall on 200 S. Hamilton Road.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a public reception featuring remarks from Mayor Laurie Jadwin and Council President Trenton Weaver, light refreshments, and a special archival exhibit highlighting the history of Gahanna’s City Hall and Council Chambers from 1881 to the present. Prepared by Council Office Intern Caris Lantz, the exhibit will include historic photographs, videos, and milestones from Gahanna’s past.
At 7 p.m., guests are invited to attend the official call to order for the final City Council meeting at this location. The ceremony will include a presentation of the colors by the Gahanna Division of Police Honor Guard, special appearances by former City officials for the Pledge of Allegiance, and the final roll call of City Council at 200 S. Hamilton Road.
Join us as we honor more than half a century of public service, civic leadership, and community memories at the municipal complex at 200 S. Hamilton Road, which has served the City of Gahanna since 1970.
