UT Extension will be offering a "Cooking with Commodities" program at Feed Sumner Food Bank and Ministry located at 1121 Gregory Drive in Gallatin on Friday, September 11, from 4p-5p.

Participants will learn how to make an easy recipe using items commonly found in food boxes, and we will also share about healthy living tips. Those attending will be able to pick up their food boxes at this meeting instead of on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

There is no charge for the class. Space is limited, so if you would like to join, please register by emailing [email protected] or call 615-452-1423 by Thursday, September 10, 2026.

It’s our admin JoAnn’s birthday over the weekend and we celebrated by bringing her “anything but a birthday balloon” and with cake today! Working in an office as large of ours, she got so many balloons that we had to put the seats down in her suv! 😂😂😂 Happy 30th(ish) Birthday, JoAnn!!
