Ready to make a splash this summer? ☀️💦

The Lake Ridge Fire Department is back with our Summer Pool Fills! Let our dedicated volunteers help you get your pool ready for the heat while supporting your local fire department.

How it works: You must live within our fire district. We operate on a First Come, First Served basis. Once you're on the list, our firefighters will contact you directly to schedule a time when they are off-duty and available.

Call the office today at 219-980-8620 to get your name down! Leave your name, phone number and address and we'll get you on the list.

⚠️ Please Note: This service is provided by our amazing volunteer crews. Pool must be within our fire district. Because emergency calls always come first, we cannot guarantee specific dates or times. We appreciate your patience and support! 🚒💨

🚒 New Faces & Milestones at the Station! 🚒

We had a busy monthly meeting this past Monday. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our two newest probationary firefighters, Marvin Jones and Matthew Munson! We’re excited to have them on board as they begin their journey serving our community. If you see them around the station or out and about, be sure to say hello!

We also want to give a huge shout-out to Firefighter Kenya Jordan, who is celebrating 2 years with the department! Thank you, Kenya, for your hard work, dedication, and continued service to our neighbors.

The Lake Ridge Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a Boot Drive THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY to benefit Hoosier Burn Camp. This amazing organization provides a safe and supportive environment for children who have suffered physical and emotional trauma from burn injuries.

Every dollar collected goes directly toward helping these kids just be kids again. Come see us at 41st & Cleveland and 45th & Colfax. We ask that you please use caution when driving through these intersections as our members will be near the roadway.

✨ Happy Birthday, Brian Denney! ✨

Today, we are honored to wish a very Happy Birthday to Retired Honorary Member, Brian Denney.

Brian dedicated three decades of his life to this community, serving our department with distinction from 1994 to 2023. While he may have officially hung up the helmet here at Lake Ridge, Brian’s impact is still felt every day.

He remains a vital part of our family, continuing to step up whenever help is needed and generously passing down his wealth of knowledge to the next generation of firefighters.

Please join us in thanking Brian for his 30 years of service and wishing him a fantastic birthday! 🎈🚒
