Please be careful tomorrow Tuesday August 18th as kids head back to School!!! School Zones are 15 MPH on 7th Street in front of Glen Dale Elementary and Wheeling Avenue/RT2 from Lee Street to 13th Street in front of John Marshall High School. Please be aware that traffic will be very heavy in front of John Marshall during morning hours 7:30-8:30 before School and afternoon 3:00-4:00 when School lets out due to construction. Good Luck to all the Students, Teachers and Staff of all Marshall County Schools!! Let's have a Great School Year!!!!!

*****************TRAFFIC UPDATE************** Please be advised while the work goes on at the WVU-REYNOLDS ER RAMP, 9th Street will now be EAST ONE WAY from Wheeling Avenue/RT2. You will not be able to turn onto Wheeling Avenue/RT2 from 9th Street. This is to accommodate AMBULANCE traffic for the front North Entrance to the ER.

Get Ready Glen Dale.....4th of July Parade will be starting at 10:30.....We will lineup at the front of John Marshall High School, turn left onto Wheeling Avenue/RT2, right on 13th Street and then right on Tomlinson Avenue, from there all the way to a right at 4th Street. Then turn right back onto Wheeling Avenue until we get to 7th Street and right again and finish at the Glen Dale City Park which is approximately 1 1/2 miles. Come out and look at the kids and their decorated bikes also it's not too late to grab your bike and decorate to join us.

Glen Dale get ready for our annual 4th of July parade this Saturday!!! Kids get your bikes ready to decorate and come be in the parade. We will start just like years before in front of John Marshall High School and go through town. Residents of Glen Dale start your Holiday weekend by coming out and waving to the kids and their awesome bikes to celebrate 250 years of the USA!!!! Line-up at 10:00 and parade will start at 10:30. Same route as years past. Thank You for your support and Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!!!!

Glen Dale get ready for our 100 year parade Celebration!!!! Parade starts at 10:30 at John Marshall High School onto 13th Street, turn right onto Tomlinson Avenue then right onto 4th Street, right onto RT2(Wheeling Avenue), right on 7th Street and finishing at Glen Dale Park. Please come out and enjoy a great day with us. We will have our New Squad 4096 and our refurbished Engine Tower 404. Thank You for supporting our Fire Department.
