Huge shout out to our generous community partner The Welcome to America Project for holding a clothing closet during our free resource fair today!

The IRC’s Education team brought together several community partners to provide free vaccinations, food, clothing, school supplies, household and hygiene items and more to hundreds of people.

We couldn’t bring events like this together without wonderful community partners and our volunteers. Thank you for spending your Saturday with us!

As more and more of the families we serve lose access to their SNAP (food stamp) benefits, food insecurity is rising at an alarming rate!

We are grateful to partner with Trinity Mennonite Church and St. Mary's Food Bank to offer monthly free food distribution events for families in need. On Tuesday we gathered in Trinity's Fellowship Hall to serve 85 households (392 individuals), and only eight of the families had access to SNAP!

We're grateful for the Trinity and IRC volunteers that came together to make this event possible. Trinity's congregation even gathered hundreds of bags of rice and hygiene items to add to our distribution. ❤ We're also grateful to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for providing insulated bags and information about their services. Thank you Phoenix community!

This year’s has been the most culturally diverse in the tournament’s history, underscoring the power of welcome, compassion, and of celebrating the differences that make us stronger.
