We’re feeling a little needy today, so here’s a fun Glenpool history fact.

Did you know the Glenpool Police Department gets its name from the town it’s located in? Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Also, here is a random video.

Until next time.

Hi everyone, meet Rodney

Rodney was being stopped for a minor traffic violation.

Rodney decided to unsubscribe from the traffic stop.

Then he tried hide-and-seek. He was not good at it.

The officer found him.

Now Rodney has a new court date and a very avoidable problem.

Don’t be like Rodney.

Nothing builds character like spending $100 on ingredients only to hear:

“Dat Yucky.”

From someone whose favorite meal is a fistful of shredded cheese straight from the bag.

Speaking of tiny humans making questionable choices, summer is here. More kids are outside riding bikes, playing in yards, and occasionally forgetting cars exist.

Slow down in residential areas and watch for them.

Goodnight, G-Pool 🌖

VICTIMS DESERVE ANSWERS. WE DON’T STOP LOOKING.

On April 19, 2026, Glenpool Police responded to a domestic violence investigation in which a female victim sustained severe facial injuries after being struck with a television. Following the investigation, probable cause was established, and an arrest warrant was issued for Douglas Padberg on May 20, 2026, for Domestic Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Working closely with our federal law enforcement partners, investigators tracked Padberg to Highlands County, Florida, where he was located and arrested by the United States Marshals Service on May 27, 2026. He is currently awaiting extradition to Tulsa County to face the charge.

Domestic violence leaves lasting physical and emotional scars. When offenders attempt to evade accountability by fleeing, our commitment to victims remains unwavering. Whether across town or across the country, Glenpool Police will use every lawful resource and partnership available to locate those accused of violent crimes and bring them before the court.

We appreciate the assistance of the United States Marshals Service and our federal partners in locating and apprehending Padberg.

As always, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Update - Phone lines are back up and running. You may resume calling (918)322-8110 for any non-emergency.

As of right now, a power outage has disabled non-emergency lines for the police department. We will update when lines are back to normal.

Congratulations to City of Tulsa on their Guinness World Record.

Meanwhile, we’d like Guinness to come take a look at Highway 75 between City of Jenks and City of Glenpool, around 7:30 a.m.

We’re pretty sure we’re attempting to break the record for:

🏆 Largest daily gathering of people aggressively checking the clock while moving 3 mph.

Guinness, call us. We have witnesses. And they’re all stuck in traffic.

Imagine going to Quiktrip and parking in a handicapped spot (you’re not handicapped). Imagine not getting out of the car. Imagine being so intoxicated you throw up on yourself and basically fall out of the car door as a cop is 20 feet behind you getting gas.

Now imagine going to jail.

That’s exactly what Cin Thang did today. Don’t be like Cin.

Cin Thang was arrested for:

•Parking Violation
•Actual Physical Control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated
•Transporting Open Container

Drive safe, drive sober.
