We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit striving to focus public attention on and stimulate use of the Library. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization interested in the Goffstown Public Library. We strive to focus public attention on and stimulate use of the library. We also support the American Library Association’s Library Bill of Rights, which expresses the rights of library users to intellectual freedom. The Friends sponsor or subsidize many library programs throughout the year and provide a presence in the library and greater Goffstown community.

📢 BIG NEWS, GOFFSTOWN!

Our FALL BOOK SALE is MOVING!

Construction has officially started on the library parking lot—a super exciting, much-needed upgrade for our community!

While the library gets a makeover, our October Book Sale is taking a mini field trip right down the street to the Maple Avenue Lot (at the corner of Elm and Maple Streets)! 🍂📚

It’s the exact same book sale you know and love, run by the same volunteer crew, with the exact same heart—just with a brand-new backdrop.

Mark your calendars, tell your neighbors, and get ready to stock up your reading piles!

📍 Where: Maple Avenue Lot (Corner of Elm & Maple)
🗓️ When: October 17th! The sale is from 9am - 3pm!
🎟️ Bonus: Every book purchase directly funds our local library programs and family museum passes!

📢 Great News, Goffstown! Book Donations are Back at the Library! 📚✨

🥳 Now that the library elevator work is complete, we are officially accepting book donations back at the Goffstown Public Library during regular hours!

👋 A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to Goffstown Parks & Recreation for generously letting us use their space over the summer. Having a temporary spot kept our sorting operations running smoothly, and we couldn't be more grateful for their support and partnership! 🙏💚

With our October Book Sale right around the corner, we are in major need of your gently-used books to stock the tables! Whether you’re clearing out your summer reads, thinning out your home bookshelves, or looking for a good home for children’s books your kids have outgrown—we want them!

While the Library elevator is out of service, we'll be temporarily accepting book donations at the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S. Mast Street. Please place donations under the tables in the back community room.

You can bring your donations (in bags or boxes) Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We cannot accept textbooks or damaged books, VHS cassettes, Reader's Digest condensed books, encyclopedias or magazines, or titles that are dusty or moldy.

Thank you for your patience while we wait for the elevator to be repaired.

📚 WOW. What a week! 📚

Our June Book Sale is officially wrapped up, and we are absolutely blown away by the incredible community support. An event of this size takes a village, and we had an army of wonderful neighbors step up to move thousands of books, lift heavy tables, unbox inventory, and keep everything running smoothly.

First and foremost, a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the Neville family. As always, their incredible generosity and unwavering support for the library, our group and the foundation of this sale, and we truly could not do any of this without them!

We also want to celebrate the amazing crew of volunteers who gave their time, strength, and smiles throughout the week to make it all happen:
