Mark your calendars! Bring a folding chair or blanket and join us on the lawn for a concert on Saturday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. Contemporary folk singers and songwriters, Andy & Judy, weave captivating tales through their music, with many songs rooted in history. Clap and sing along to original songs, accompanied by guitars, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and more. Whether you enjoy traditional folk, roots music, country swing, or bluegrass, there’s something for everyone!

No registration required. Rain Date: Saturday, August 15.

Join us for Yoga on the Lawn on Saturday, August 1 at 9:15 a.m., an all-levels yoga class led by Danielle Michael of Mountain Base Yoga; beginners welcome! Bring your own mat or towel and water. Are you looking for a fun, family-friendly event? The Goffstown Public Library Foundation is hosting a FUNdraiser skating event at Remix Skate and Event Center in Manchester on Wednesday, July 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A percentage of each paid admission will go to the Goffstown Public Library Foundation’s mission to raise funds to support the capital needs of the Goffstown Public Library. If you like skating and love the library, this event is for you.

Please note that the date of the Judy Pancoast concert was incorrectly listed in a July 16 Union Leader article. The concert took place last Friday, July 24, and there will not be a concert at the Library today.

GRAMMY®-nominated singer, songwriter, performer, and recording artist Judy Pancoast will be performing a live concert on the Library lawn on Friday, July 24 at 11:30 a.m. Pack a lunch, grab a blanket or lawn chair, and join us!

No registration required. This event is for all ages and is weather-dependent; there is no rain date.

While the Library elevator is out of service, the Friends of the Goffstown Public Library are temporarily accepting book donations at the Parks and Recreation building at 155 S. Mast Street. Please place donations under the tables in the back community room.

You can bring your donations (in bags or boxes) Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Friends cannot accept textbooks or damaged books, VHS cassettes, Reader's Digest condensed books, encyclopedias or magazines, or titles that are dusty or moldy.

Thank you for your patience while we wait for the elevator to be repaired.

Our elevator has been out of service since Thursday, May 28, 2026. The elevator repair company currently anticipates that the part will be received by the first week of August and that the elevator will be back in service by the second week of August.

As a reminder, during the interim period, accessibility to the upper floors of the library may be impacted for some individuals.

• While most library functions will continue normally, all adult programming and some teen programming locations will be moved either to our lawn or to an off-site location. Updated information will be posted on the library calendar; please verify program locations before arriving.
• Book donations have been on hiatus. The Friends of the Goffstown Library will be temporarily accepting book donations at the Goffstown Parks and Recreation building located at 155 S. Mast Road. Please place donations under the tables in the back community room anytime Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please email any questions to [email protected]. Once we have a firm date for completion of the elevator repair, we will share when we can again welcome your donations in the Library building.
• Additional adult library materials are available for browsing in our Circulation Desk lobby. If you don't see something that meets your needs or interests, please ask library staff for assistance, and we will be happy to retrieve it for you.

Lady Liberty is coming to celebrate America's 250th birthday! On Saturday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m., kids entering kindergarten through grade 3 can hear her read a story, teach patriotic sign language, and help everyone create their own flag. 📅 Registration required at the library's online calendar or by calling us at 603-497-2102.
