We'd like to thank for their generous donation of seeds to our Seed Library!

Our seed library is currently located in the holds room of GVL Express (6500 Hollister Ave. Suite 105). Donations like this from local nurseries make this community seed exchange possible; you can view a full list of our generous sponsors posted at the seed library.

Read-A-Palooza is off to a fantastic start! 📚🎉
GVL Express’s Summer Reading kicked-off on Sat June 6 with 264 enthusiastic readers! Attendees enjoyed lively performances by Ukulele Jim and SB Aerial Dance, including impressive hula hooping demonstrations, along with songs and stories shared by library staff. There was plenty to explore throughout the event, from lawn games and crafts to bubbles, books, and opportunities to connect with fellow readers.
THANK YOU to Friends of the Goleta Valley Library for their continued support of our and to the Rotary Club of Goleta for their generous donation toward our lawn games, helping make this event even more fun and welcoming for everyone.
We're also incredibly grateful for our outstanding teen volunteers! They helped set up the event, register participants in Beanstack, hand out free books, assist with crafts and co****le, keep the bubbles flowing, answer questions, and help clean up after a busy day. Their energy, enthusiasm, and hard work helped make the event a success.

El sábado recibimos a 264 lectores entusiastas en el evento de inicio de nuestro Programa de Lectura de Verano. Los asistentes disfrutaron de presentaciones de Ukulele Jim y SB Aerial Dance, además de canciones y cuentos con el personal de la biblioteca.

Goleta Valley Library's Read-A-Palooza Kick-Off event is this Saturday, June 6 from 11am-2pm.

We'll be set up behind the Goleta Community Center (5679 Hollister Ave, Goleta) between the Pickleball Courts and the Boys and Girls Club.

Register for our Summer Reading Program, enjoy lawn games and crafts.
