This Saturday March 28th is the big day for our annual Easter egg hunt. The temperatures are going to be a little cool so dress the kiddos accordingly and bring them on out for a great time.

Please refrain from burning today with the winds blowing 15 to 25 mph and gust up to 40 mph fire can spread rapidly and extremely quick. Fire departments all across the county have been heavily busy with brush fires today. So please refrain from all burning !!!

The past couple of months we have been working hard to acquire a new peice of equipment to better serve our communty and county. Yesterday we brought it home to station 6, this peice of equipment will be a big help on brush fires, search & rescue or whatever ever call that may arise to deploy our new brush unit. This would not be possible with out the Kentucky Fire Commission working hard to keep volunteer fire departments state aid a priority. Thank you to Extreme sports of Leitchfield, ky, Miles trailer sales of Beachmont and Old National Bank for working hard to make this possible.

Hey folks, it's almost that time of year again for our annual easter egg hunt. This year we have teamed up with Graham Missionary Baptist Church to help make this event even bigger. Last year's egg hunt was the biggest yet. We hid around 5,000 eggs and had an estimated 250 kids or more to attend. This year we are increasing our egg count to 15,000 eggs. We hope to see you there so save the date on the flyer below your kids don't wanna miss this.

P.S. we heard the Easter bunny will be there !!!

Please use extreme caution if you must travel this morning. The roads and especially the bridges are extremely slick and iced over. There are multiple reports of slide offs and accidents throught our county this morning.
