🧥🥤🧢 LOST & FOUND: The Final Call! 👀

Our Lost & Found has been working overtime these past six weeks… and some of these items have officially been here long enough to start paying rent. 😂

📸 Take a look through the pictures—do you recognize something that belongs to your kiddo?

Parents, this is your sign to check! ⏰ At the end of each six weeks, all unclaimed items will be donated so our Lost & Found doesn’t take over the school for the rest of the year!

If you see something familiar, please have your student stop by the Lost & Found and bring it home. 🏠💜💛

💜💛 Last week at Mambrino was full of learning, fun, and connection! 🍎✨

An Apple a day makes the JOY stay! From our kindergarteners hunting for letters 🔎 to Apple Day rotations in each classroom 🍏, there was plenty happening around campus!

We also celebrated our Empathy Bracelet winners—a peer-voted Capturing Kids’ Hearts award recognizing students who show empathy and kindness. 🫶 Only some of our winners are pictured, but every one of them deserves a big shoutout!

3rd grade has their own character trait house system and had their first house meeting Friday complete with minute to win it games!

🎣 C.A.S.T. for Kids! 🎣

Today, some of our Mambrino students had the opportunity to spend the morning fishing, making memories, and enjoying an incredible day on the lake at the annual C.A.S.T. for Kids event!

But one of our favorite parts of the day happens back on shore. 💜💛 Our Partner PE 5th Graders get to be part of the celebration too, cheering on their peers as they come off the boats and are presented with their medals! We love seeing our students show up for one another in such a big way.

We are so thankful for the Granbury ISD staff, community volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who gives their time and resources to make this special day possible for our students.

A huge thank you to Coach Zschiesche and her Specials Team for being a part of organizing and putting on this wonderful event each year, Cook Children’s for donating life jackets, and the Brazos River Authority for providing water safety lessons.

Days like this are a beautiful reminder of what it means to be All Heart, All Mambrino! 💜💛🎣

🥤 Special Delivery Thursdays! 🥤

Thursdays come with a little extra fizz at Mambrino! Mrs. Rudd’s class has taken on one very important job: delivering our Sonic drink orders to staff around campus!

These kiddos are learning responsibility, practicing communication, and serving others, all while making Thursday afternoons a little happier. And judging by those smiles, we think they might have the best delivery service in town!

Thank you, Mrs. Rudd’s class, for keeping Mambrino refreshed and delivering every drink with a smile! 💜

Congratulations on the well-deserved recognition for one of our very own- 5th grade math teacher Mrs. Moody!! We love you and are thankful for the many ways that you serve our campus, our students and your team! Keep shining! 🌟💜

Congratulations to Nicole Moody, 5th Grade Math teacher at STEAM Academy at Mambrino, this week’s Gold recipient! 🟡

Mrs. Moody is a natural leader who is always looking for ways to make Mambrino better! From championing new curriculum and sharing resources across grade levels and campuses to growing and supporting new team members, she consistently steps up to help those around her. She has served as a process champion and helped lead the Mambrino Scholarship Committee for many years.

In the classroom, Mrs. Moody pairs high expectations with strong relationships, creating an environment where students are engaged, supported, and challenged to grow. Her leadership and positive impact extend far beyond her classroom, and Mambrino simply wouldn’t be the same without her!
