📚 Only TWO WEEKS left to register for the Powerful Readers 2026 Youth Reading Club at Caprock Academy! 🌟

Caprock Academy is proud to host this engaging summer educational program designed to strengthen reading comprehension, structured writing, critical thinking, leadership skills, and student confidence for students ages 7–12.

Through guided reading, creative activities, reader journals, and hands-on learning experiences, students will build strong academic habits while preventing summer learning loss.

Now that school is out and you’re cleaning out closets and drawers, or even starting your back-to-school shopping early, it’s the perfect time to review Caprock Academy’s updated dress code for the 2026–2027 school year.

👕 What to do now:
• Check your child’s current uniforms, shoes, and dress code items
• Set aside anything that no longer meets requirements
• Plan ahead for summer purchases
• Talk with your child about expectations for next year

📅 Dress code expectations begin July 20th, with consistent enforcement starting on the first day of school.

When expectations are clear at home and at school, students are more confident, prepared, and successful.

Last week, we celebrated one of the sweetest milestones of the year—Kindergarten Graduation! Our young learners walked across the stage with proud smiles, joyful hearts, and big dreams for the future.

From learning letters and numbers to building friendships, confidence, and character, these students have grown so much this year. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them as they prepare to begin their next adventure in 1st grade.

Recently, our 2nd grade students welcomed the 1st graders into their classrooms to showcase their Insect Projects. This was a wonderful opportunity for younger students to get excited about transitioning into 2nd grade while seeing the creativity, hard work, and learning taking place in the classroom.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to remind families that our dress code plays an important role in creating a focused, respectful learning environment where students are prepared for what comes next.

Updates to Policy SE 6.0: Dress Code have been approved for the 2026–2027 school year, and we are intentionally refocusing on clear and consistent expectations across all grade levels.
