Western Colorado Botanical Gardens

Western Colorado Botanical Gardens Explore 3 acres of garden, ponds,
2 indoor tropical rainforests, butterflies, turtles & tortoises. Western Colorado Botanical Gardens was founded in 1997.

We have a Butterfly Pavilion, Rainforest and multiple outdoor gardens. In 2012, Strive, a local non-profit organization took over management of the Gardens. Since the takeover, there has been a huge growth in its work program at the gardens, where the clients needing vocational experience train in both paid and volunteer capacities at the gardens gift shop or on the 15-acre grounds. (Strive offers numerous services for clients who have a broad range of developmental issues.)

The weather is supposed to take a turn for the rainy tonight so, to protect everyone from being rained on halfway through, we will be canceling tonight’s movie.

We apologize for any inconvenience and any tickets bought online will be refunded!

🎵 The Garden Groove Summer Concert Series is coming to a close with Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers! Be here Friday, August 28th with a lawn chair or blankets and some friends for a fantastic time — doors open at 6:00pm 🎶

🌟 Then, Saturday, August 29th, we’ve got Lilo & Stitch for our Movie Under the Stars this week! Enjoy your weekend with your family and/or friends in the fresh, night air — movie begins at dusk (approx. 8:30pm) 🌙

🌳🌟READ FOR BOTANICAL GARDENS & MOVIE UNDER THE STARS UPDATES 🌟🌳

THIS Saturday we are playing SUPERMAN!

🌳🌳 Saturday, August 22nd the gardens will be CLOSED in the morning and OPEN starting at 2pm. The gardens will then be open until the end of the Movie Under the Stars event (approx. 10:30pm).

🌟🌟 Movies Under the Stars events will begin at DUSK! For this Saturday, that will be approximately an 8:30pm start time. Please arrive a little early if you plan to buy snacks or drinks and allow yourself time to set up your seating area.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at wcbotanic.org!
