Snohomish County Energy Assistance

Saturday, November 7 from 11am-5pm. Appointments encouraged.

Did you know there are grants and discounts that can help with your heat bill? Snohomish County Energy Assistance staff will be here to help you apply for the Energy Assistance program, sign folks up for heat bill discounts, and answer questions. All fuel types welcome.

Benefits may include a 1-time $250-$1250 off your heat bill, heat system repairs, bill discounts, and a free portable air conditioner for eligible households. People who received Energy Assistance last year can apply again!

How to sign up: Either 1) call the Granite Falls Library: (360) 691-6087, OR 2) visit in-person. Library staff will give more info & what to bring.

An unlikely bond on the big screen! Join us at the Granite Falls Library to watch "My Octopus Teacher." This touching documentary tells the story of a diver who befriends an octopus and chronicles their growing relationship over the course of a year.

Little Science Lab is back! This hands-on, interactive program for preschoolers and their caring adults encourages children’s curiosity about the natural world and develops early science and math skills to get them ready for school. Educators from Imagine Children’s Museum deliver Little Science Lab weekly at our library every Thursday @ 1:30-2:00 p.m.

Find your new read at the Granite Falls Friends of the Library Book Sale! Hundreds of books and DVDs for adults, teens, and children are available for purchase.

There will be an all-weekend silent auction! On Sunday, fill a bag of books for $5.00!

The Friends of the Granite Falls Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the Granite Falls Library and providing program support.
