**RUTLEDGE READS THE LAST RITES FOR MARK WARNER**
Richmond, VA — Merle Rutledge Jr., write-in candidate for U.S. Senate, today administered the last rites to the political career of Mark Warner — and noted that Warner himself has already admitted the end is here, telling reporters this would be his "final term."
"Eighteen years, and look at the wreckage," Rutledge said. "He built the data-center monster that's strangling Virginia families' electric bills, then cried about it when it turned on him. He got caught red-handed pressuring 25 Big Tech companies to police what voters see eleven days before an election. His party's machine in Richmond is being led away in handcuffs — the most powerful Democrat in the Virginia Senate just got indicted by the FBI. That's not a campaign, Mark. That's a co**se that hasn't fallen yet."
Rutledge pointed to a race where voters never saw a single debate, where Warner sits on millions in donor money while Virginia families pay $11,000 more a year just to survive on basic needs.
"He won't debate. He won't face the people. He hides behind money, machine politics, and censorship letters — the exact record of a man who knows the truth would bury him," Rutledge said. "So let me say it plainly, since nobody in his own party has the spine: the Warner era is over. Virginia is just waiting until November 3 to sign the certificate."
"I'm not a career politician reading a eulogy somebody wrote for me. I'm the man who showed up to deliver it," Rutledge continued. "Early voting is open through October 31. On November 3, write in MERLE RUTLEDGE — and let's bury the machine for good."
