Mrs. Flagg traded places with one of her students this morning, and this sweet girl was ready to lead! She took the lead at the SmartBoard and guided her classmates through the alphabet chart like a pro! We love seeing our students take ownership of their learning, build confidence, and show what they know!!

Last fall, selected students participated in Arkansas Writers In The School, a poetry workshop led by graduate students in the U of A Creative Writing program.

We are so proud that Margaret Goodman, now in middle school, and Elise White, now a 5th grader, had their writing selected for publication in the 2025–2026 anthology.

Our second graders are jumping into the wonderful world of Charlotte’s Web! We’re kicking off our learning with a fun hook to get students excited about the story and ready to think like readers!
