Kindergarten schedule information for the 2026-27 school year 📆

Anderson School District One Kindergarten (K5) students will begin the 2026-27 school year on a staggered start schedule.

With a staggered start, each K5 student will attend school on one assigned day during the first 5 days of the school year.

This schedule will help provide students with a positive and welcoming transition to school while giving teachers an opportunity to get to know each child and complete important beginning-of-year assessments.

Elementary Schools will provide additional information to K5 parents the week of July 13. The first full day of school for all K5 students will be Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Dates for Meet the Teacher events have been scheduled for the 2026-27 school year.

Elementary Schools: August 3rd
Middle Schools: July 30th
High Schools: August 4th

More details, including times, will be announced as we get closer to the upcoming school year.

This year, our PVMS Patriot Staff dedicated a special page in the yearbook to honor the memory of Mr. Brett Bates, whose impact on our school family will never be forgotten. ❤️

This past Thursday, we were honored to welcome the Bates family to campus for lunch as they were presented with a copy of the yearbook and this meaningful tribute. Mr. Bates meant so much to our students and staff, and we continue to keep his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Once a Patriot, always a Patriot. ❤️💙
