We will be in the concourse before the Iowa Wild game on Saturday, October 24 for Book Club Night! Stop by our table and say hello.
The Iowa Wild will be playing against the Manitoba Moose. The puck drops at 6:00.

Tonight's Family Night: Apple Snacks program has had to be adjusted due to staffing. We will still have apple-themed crafts and snacks available, but there will be no food component. Sorry for the last minute change!

The library and all other city buildings will be closed on Friday, October 16 for city staff in-service.

The library will be back open on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th.

Some wild animals are adapting to live in cities alongside people. Can we live alongside them as well? Join Andy Kellner, Wildlife Biologist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, to discuss some of our most common urban wild neighbors like coyotes, geese, and raccoons. We'll discuss what makes these animals so adaptable, their history, and tips for living in the same areas. All ages are welcome and there will be a chance for hands on experiences with furs.

Grimes Public Library will be an early voting site on Monday, October 19 from 10am - 4 pm.
This is an early voting opportunity site for ALL Polk County residents and precincts.
