We are ending our subscription to Beanstack, the online platform used for tracking reading challenges like 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and past summer reading challenges. We will download program data so current reading progress is not lost, but we encourage families who use Beanstack to track book titles to save that information before the end of the week.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We remain committed to offering reading challenges that are both affordable and accessible.

Registration for our next Rain Barrel Worskhop is open!
This program is provided in partnership with the City of Grimes and The Rain Campaign.

One rain barrel per household. Each registrant may bring along a partner to help build (registering a partner is not necessary). Grimes residents 18+ only. Previous workshop attendees are welcome.

This was the first week for readers to turn in their first reading bookmark, and let's just say we have some motivated readers this year! :) The first 35 kiddos to turn in their bookmarks on Monday even received an suprise sweet treat from Beth's Bon Bons. We are now 22 days into our summer reading challenge. Keep going readers! :)
