No Watches or Warns currently in Limestone as storms roll into our area. These storms are currently slowmoving and subsevere but intensification may be possible with Small Hail , Gusting Winds, Frequent Lightning and Heavy Rain. Rain currently heaviest in S Limestone Co. A chance for redeveloping storms may lead to ponding in low lying areas. Cloudtops to appx 37k ft, moving NE at 8MPH.

LIMESTONE WXNET - SLOWMOVING SEVERE STORMS to our NW; FORERUNNING STORMS IN MCLENNAN/FALLS CO:

No watches or warns currently for Limestone Co, but Strong/Severe Storms have fired up to our W/NW. Very Large Hail and Damaging Winds, and possible tornadoes. While Limestone Co is currently forcast to remain out of the path of the current storms, but vigilance is warranted through the evening.

LATEST NWS GUIDANCE (7:17PM) forecasts this complex of Severe storms to stay to our W through 9PM. A few storms may linger overnight, but at this time, they forecast the threat to be diminishing.

CAVEATS: This of course is subject to change, as Texas WX is fickle - so stay aware for possible storms through the overnight hours.

LIMESTONE WXNET - SEVERE WX POSSIBLE LATE MOTHER'S DAY and OVERNIGHT; LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS POSSIBLE
No watches or warns currently for Limestone and surrounding counties, but Severe WX will be possible from early SUNDAY evening through and overnight into MONDAY. Very Large Hail and Damaging Winds, with a low chance for Tornadoes.

FORECAST: Latest NWS reports (3:55PM) forecasts our area as MODERATE RISK for numerous strong to severe storms SUNDAY EVENING and OVERNIGHT through MONDAY afternoon. Large to Very Large Hail is the greatest threat, with Damaging Winds a secondary threat. These storms may initialise rapidly; vigilance is warranted due to uncertain timing.

CAVEATS: Timing is vague; prepare Mother's Day outdoor event venues for possible early activation to avoid being caught unawares outside!

SPOTTERS should prepare for possible activation LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON and OVERNIGHT through EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

These slow-moving storms are currently subsevere, but intensification is possible as they move SE into Central TX.m, producing Hail , Gusting Winds, Heavy Rains, or Frequent Lightning. LIMESTONE WXNET - RINSE and REPEAT: SCATTERED STRONG/SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON THRU MONDAY; POSSIBLE HAIL THREAT TODAY, FLASH FLOODING TOMORROW

No watches or warns currently for Limestone and surrounding counties, but scattered severe storms will be possible today and tomorrow. Any storms today may quickly become slow-moving supercellular storms, with Very Large Hail, much like yesterday's "Storm That Would Not Die" (TM).

LATEST NWS GUIDANCE (1:04 PM) forecasts scattered strong to severe storms again for this afternoon with a possibility for some to have Very Large Hail, Damaging Winds and a small chance of Tornadoes.

CURRENT CONDITIONS: Storms are already forming in a line from Dallas to San Angelo. TODAY's Very Large Hail Threat may become THURSDAY's Heavy Rain Event, with Heavy Rains and Flash Flooding Possible THURSDAY - MONDAY.

WEEKEND FORECAST: Up to 3"of Rain may fall for our area through Monday, with a chance for isolated higher amounts. Vigilance over the next few days is warranted due to the increasing threat of Flash Flooding.

CAVEAT: Models have struggled with location and coverage; some may get no storms, while others experience the deluge.
