It's almost time for Summer Reading! Reading logs are already available at the Library or at www.groesbecklibrary.org.

JOIN US on Monday, June 15, 2026, for Children's Story Time. We'll be Reading Sunflower Seeds by Ellen Heck. Children can make a sunflower craft and get a container of sunflower seeds to take home to plant! The fun starts at 11:00 am. Hope to see you there!

Our 2026 Summer Reading Log Contest begins Monday, June 1st!!! You can download the logs for your age ranges at our website:
https://www.groesbecklibrary.org/

or pick up printed copies at the library!

We also highly recommend purchasing a simple stopwatch for your kid(s) to use to ensure accuracy. They can press start when they begin reading, stop when they end, and you (the parent or guardian) can record and initial their time on the log.

EVERY kid who turns in a reading log gets a goody bag, with additional prizes for the top 3 in each age group.

Join us on Monday, June 1, 2026, for Children's Story Time. We'll be reading Splat and the Cool School Trip by Rob Scotton and playing a game where children pretend to be zoo animals and learn fun facts their animals' habits and habitats. The fun starts at 11:00 am.

WE'RE HAVING A FAMILY CRAFT THIS WEEK! Try your hand at "paper sculpting" with four different flower designs. This craft is available Monday through Thursday during regular library hours. No reservation required; just ask at the front desk. (Available while supplies last.)

The Groesbeck Public Library is now a pick-up location
for free meals for kids and teens!
Our location's dates are on the following WEDNESDAYS (Bi-Weekly) 6/3, 6/17, 7/1, 7/15, 7/29
from 10:30AM - 2PM

The Little Wiggles Preschool Enrichment Program has just TWO more sessions before we break for the summer: our regular group on May 20th and a special end-of-the-school-year celebration on May 27th. We will then break for the summer, but we’ll be back on August 5th! (REMINDER: We are also NOT meeting on May 13th.)
