Paramedic Andy had the opportunity to speak with nursing students from Tarleton and give them a hands-on look inside the ambulance, walking through the equipment we use and how we operate in the field.

We truly value this partnership. Building relationships like this helps both EMS and nursing better understand each other’s roles, improving communication, teamwork, and ultimately patient care.

It’s a win for everyone involved and we’re always excited to be a part of learning experiences like this!

Exciting things are happening for EMS in Hico, Texas!

Our Hico EMS crews will soon be moving into a brand new station, made possible thanks to the support and partnership of the Hico Emergency Services District.

The ESD recently hosted an open house to showcase the new facility and give the community a chance to see the station up close. We’re incredibly grateful for the investment in EMS and the continued commitment to providing high-quality emergency care to the Hico area.

Our crews will be moving in very soon, and we look forward to serving the community from this new home!

Blood saves lives, and the need for it across our region continues to grow.

Thanks to new funding from the State of Texas and in partnership with the Central Texas Regional Advisory Council, we are working to expand the ability for prehospital providers to carry blood products and begin life-saving transfusions sooner for critically injured patients.

Programs like this help ensure that when seconds matter, our communities have access to the care they need, right where they need it.

We are excited to announce that our newly remounted ambulance has officially been placed into service in Llano County, Texas!

Recently, we held a push-in ceremony to welcome the new unit into service, a long-standing fire and EMS tradition symbolizing the start of its service to the community. This new unit will help us continue to provide high quality emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Llano County!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our friends at Marble Falls EMS for joining us and assisting with the push-in. We truly appreciate the support between our agencies!

We’re proud to put this new unit on the road and look forward to continuing to serve the Llano County community!

Hamilton EMS is proud to be a hospital-based EMS service, and supporting our Emergency Department counterparts is something we truly value. When our ER was exceptionally busy recently, our teams did what they always do; stepped up to support patient care wherever needed.

The ER team reached out to share their appreciation for Paramedics Carter, Anthony, Dakota, and James, who jumped in to help and made a real difference during a very busy shift.

This is what teamwork looks like, EMS and the Emergency Department working side by side with one goal in mind: great patient care. We’re proud of our crews and grateful for the strong partnership we have with our ER team.
