The new paint lines coming into the intersection between Dunkin Donuts and the Coffee Break Cafe which were painted wrong by the contractor will be corrected tonight at about 8:00 p.m. when traffic is not as heavy.

UPDATE: Sunny was located in Bangor and returned to her owner. Thank you to everyone who shared this post.

The Hampden Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating a beloved feathered member of our community.

"Sunny," a female Cockatiel, has managed to fly away from her home on the Coldbrook Road and her family is very anxious to get her back safely. As you can see in the photo, Sunny is yellow with signature vibrant orange cheeks, and she features distinct gray and white patches on her wings.

Because birds can travel quickly or seek shelter in unexpected places like backyard trees, porches, or gardens, we ask that you please keep an eye out while you are outside today.

If you spot Sunny or have any information on her current whereabouts, please do not try to chase her, as she may get spooked. Instead, please immediately notify the Hampden Police Department at 862-4000 so we can help reunite her with her family.
