The Hancock Volunteer Fire Department extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow firefighters of Firefighter Chris Kilmer of the West Stockbridge Fire Department following his passing.

The loss of a fellow firefighter is felt throughout the entire fire service. We are a close-knit family, and when one of our own is lost, we all share in the grief.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris's family, the members of the West Stockbridge Fire Department, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Rest easy, Chris. Thank you for your service and dedication. Your watch is over. We’ll take it from here.
