Your family may not be together when a disaster strikes, so it is important to plan in advance: how you will get to a safe place, how you will contact one another, how you will get back together, and what you will do in different situations. Today is your chance to practice putting your severe weather safety plans into action!

PRACTICE: Physically go to your "safe spot" (basement, interior room, or storm shelter).

TALK: Make sure your family, coworkers, and neighbors know exactly where to go.

THINK: What if you’re in the car when a tornado strikes? At the grocery store? Have a plan for every scenario.
