๐ŸŒŸ Future Ready Youth in Action! ๐ŸŒŸ

This summer, participants in our Summer Youth Employment Learning Program (SYELP) are gaining hands-on experience, building workplace skills, and exploring future career opportunities, all while earning a paycheck.

We're proud to showcase our interns making an impact across Connecticut:

๐ŸŽญ CAST Children's Theatre through the Town of East Hartford, working behind the scenes in the costumes department and helping bring productions to life.

๐Ÿ’ˆ Wise Guys Scissor Society through Our Piece of the Pie (OPP), gaining exposure to customer service, business operations, and the barbering industry.

๐Ÿฅค Avery's Beverages through OIC of New Britain, learning about local business operations and the beverage production industry.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Mi Sabor Dominican Restaurant through the Center for Latino Progress, building workplace experience in hospitality and customer service.

These experiences are helping young people develop the skills employers value most, including communication, teamwork, professionalism, problem-solving, and responsibility.

We are grateful to our community partners and employers for investing in the next generation and providing meaningful opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and succeed.
