THIS IS A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT ISSUED IN COORDINATION WITH THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF FORESTRY. THE WILDFIRE DANGER IS ELEVATED TODAY FOR WEST VIRGINIA. VERY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON WITH OCCASIONAL WIND GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH. WEST VIRGINIA REGULATIONS MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO BURN FROM 7 AM TO 5 PM DURING THE MONTHS OF MARCH...APRIL...AND MAY.
A warning is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely.
A watch is used when the risk of a hazardous weather or hydrologic event has increased significantly, but its occurrence, location or timing is still uncertain.
An advisory is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely.

WHEN...From Saturday morning through Monday morning.

IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
