The Garrison Institute on Aging at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is providing specialty dementia care to patients from all over the state and they are launching a pilot program to help folks from rural communities to access Memory Clinic Follow- Up care through local Libraries. Haskell County library is partnering with them; the library will help by having a private room for their telemedicine appointments.
We are having a Bingo Night at the Library on August 11th from 4pm-6:30pm. There will be Free Memory Screening from 4pm-5:30pm and Bingo from 5:30pm-6:30pm. There will be Food, Prizes, and Screening all free.
