Due to inclement weather, clouds and higher humidity which all affect proper viewing, Astronomy Club is cancelled. There will be no Astronomy Club tonight - Friday, August 14th.
We will try again next month!

Library Director Courtney Oberhansli visited her Mina branch today to present a Kindle tablet to Miss Kailey Kaufman. Two grand prize winners, one in Hawthorne and one in Mina, were chosen by lottery out of participants in our Summer Reading Program 2026. Congratulations Kailey!

Summer Reading Program is DONE and so are we!

Library patrons who read throughout our Summer Reading Program are entered in a lottery for prizes at the end of the program. Our grand prize winner, Jimmy Doll, took home a Kindle Fire. Our other winners took home fun dino-themed prizes.
We are proud of each of you and all our Summer Reading Program 2026 readers for all the reading you did this summer. Keep it up!
