Today, the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Deputy Loran Ransome for successfully completing his Basic Category I training in Carson City, Nevada.

With the receipt of his Category I certificate, Deputy Ransome is now officially certified to serve within our Patrol Division.

Going Above and Beyond

Earning a certification is a rigorous process, but Deputy Ransome didn't stop there. We are thrilled to announce that he was also honored with the Physical Fitness Award for his outstanding performance during training.
