The Hawthorne Lions Club would like to thank Rod Leavitt for making this additional touch a reality, this provides enhancement to the Bighorn sheep and Hawthorne sign at the beginning of Main street . The completion of the fencing gives definition to the entire project, adding to the Main Street revitalization.
Also would like to thank all the Lion members that helped make it possible!

Hawthorne Lions club would like to acknowledge their appreciation to the Boy Scouts Troop # 75 along with the volunteers that assisted, Jim Pruss, Jackie Edwards, Dave Musselman, Ernie Wood, and Gary Funk for a wonderful Memorial Day flag display at the cemetery. The flags flew high from morning till early evening. At that time they were rolled up and put away with respect until they are displayed again on Veterans Day, where they will fly high again. Thank you all for making this event possible.
