Eden Youth

Eden Youth We’re a youth-powered organization, protecting and nurturing the well-being
of our community.

By giving hands-on
support, we create a safe space for everyone to heal and thrive. Eden Youth and Family Center was one of the first one-stop multi-service sites serving youth in Alameda County. EYFC operates on the former site of Tennyson Elementary School, is next to Tennyson Park and Matt Jimenez Community Center. AC Transit stops at EYFC, and the site is within walking distance of South Hayward BART.

Here are some highlights from our Mother’s Day Kickoff event at St. Rose!

We celebrated our South Hayward Mamacitas with good music, free produce, community resources, and shared moments of joy with families, neighbors, volunteers, and partners. We’re so grateful for every mom who came out and participated, and for the incredible community behind us—our staff, volunteers, vendors, and local businesses who continue to show up with love and commitment for South Hayward. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to keep building together.

Friends & family — if you can, please tune in to KTVU FOX 2 around 8:15 AM this morning.

Dr. Dulce Lopez and Jose Carlos will be on representing the Latinx Advisory Committee (LAC) to highlight the work we’ve been building together and to invite everyone to Apapacho Summit: Healing the Healer later on today.

It’s truly an honor to represent this committee and to lift up the beautiful work that so many community members and organizations have contributed since the LAC began. This has always been about healing together as a community—culturally rooted, community-led, and grounded in *apapacho* (“a hug of the soul”). Huge shoutout to Alameda County Behavioral Health for their ongoing support.

If you catch it live, please share the segment and help us spread the word. Thank you for always supporting and if you have time swing on by.
