Child Care Providers: In partnership with our colleagues at First 5 Alameda County and Hively Alameda County, our team will providing a virtual training on CA Teaching Pyramid Fundamentals (CSEFEL). In this training, participants will understand how to support teaching staff to use Positive Descriptive Acknowledgement to promote appropriate behavior, build relationships, and improve communication, practice ways to develop “program-wide” expectations for children, staff, and families, explore ways to use visual strategies with children for schedules, routines, and expectations, and practice ways to increase and support teacher reflection around social-emotional development and classroom management.

Our 2026 Fall FFN Play & Learn Playgroup has an updated schedule! It is now running from October 2nd through November 20th. After twelve and a half years of service, our Director of Operations & Human Resources, Joni Chantigian, has officially retired! Since joining 4Cs, she was part of the agency's significant growth, including supporting our VITA program, navigating staff expansions, opening additional facilities, and supervising our HR & Operations team.

We will miss her deeply as she steps into this bright new chapter, but we are endlessly grateful for the stronger foundation she leaves behind. Please join us in congratulating Joni and thanking her for over a decade of dedication to 4Cs and our community!

Luckily 4Cs Child Passenger Safety Technicians are here to help make sure the little (and big) kids you transport are safe in your car.
