A fresh bouquet. A knock at the door. A reminder that someone cares. 💐
This spring and summer, clients in the Tri-Valley have been receiving beautiful flower arrangements thanks to the Kindness Flower Project, a volunteer-supported project based in Livermore that grows, harvests, arranges, and delivers bouquets each week to brighten the lives of others.
Founded by Livermore resident Molly Fisher, the Kindness Flower Project began with a simple idea: sharing extra flowers from her garden with people who could use a little joy. Today, with the help of dedicated volunteers, those flowers are bringing smiles to seniors, food pantry guests, women’s shelters, grief support groups, and others throughout the community.
During the spring and summer months, the Kindness Flower Project donates several dozen arrangements at a time to Spectrum Community Services. We alternate deliveries among our Meals on Wheels clients, helping bring beauty, connection, and kindness right to their doors.
Thank you to Molly Fisher and the wonderful volunteers of the Kindness Flower Project for reminding our clients that they are seen, valued, and remembered. 🌸
