Training day! On Saturday we went over the type of calls we receive and proper Apparatus and PPE for each call. Our priority is our community but we want to make sure our safety is also a priority. Proper PPE and apparatus will help us be able to keep our community safe.

Then we headed outside to work on our hose lays.
The importance of quick deployment but also being able to do it by yourself. As a Volunteer department you never know who will be able to answer the call and we need to be ready to deploy a line, be able to be on the nozzle, or be a pump operator.

Training day is on the first and third Saturday of the month. If you are curious of joining, stop by our Main station on training day and get some info or join us for training!

As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, remember that fireworks are prohibited on public lands.

Possessing, igniting, discharging or using any kind of fireworks is prohibited on national forests and grasslands.
