The San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services and County Library are hosting a FREE Family Preparedness Day at the Highland Branch Library!

Saturday, September 26
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Highland Branch Library | 7863 Central Ave.

Bring the whole family and learn how to be ready for an emergency! The event will feature hands-on CPR and basic first aid, fire extinguisher demonstrations, emergency alert sign-ups, a kids’ activity area, Kona Ice, and more.

Mark your calendars and join us for a day of family fun at Fire Station #3! Come meet your local firefighters, explore the station, and learn how they help keep our community safe every day.

We Will Never Forget.

Today, the City of Highland remembers and honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the first responders, service members, and countless individuals whose courage and sacrifice followed.

As we mark 25 years since September 11, 2001, we continue to remember the lives forever changed and the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

In remembrance of those who lost their lives, the Highland City Council adjourned its September 8 City Council meeting in their memory.

May we never forget.

Have used oil filters? Bring them in and exchange them for a voucher to get a NEW one FREE!

How it works:

🛢️ Bring your used oil filter
🎟️ Receive one voucher per household (limited supply)
💰 Voucher value up to $15
♻️ Help keep used oil filters out of the waste stream!

San Bernardino County residents only. Bring an ID or utility bill for verification.

⚠️ Used oil filters should be drained for 12 hours and transported in a non-leaking container or bag.

Come connect with local organizations and access FREE health resources, screenings, wellness information, and community services focused on supporting women and families throughout our community.

Free mammograms will also be available — appointments are encouraged, and walk-ins will be accepted as space allows.
