The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is proud to announce its 2026 Signature Art selection, created by Hawaiʻi Island artist and graphic designer Chalet Moleni, whose vibrant and meaningful work pays tribute to the immigrant communities whose perseverance helped shape Kona’s world-renowned coffee legacy.

Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, Moleni is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi (Class of 2018) and earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Brigham Young University.

Her 2026 Signature Art honors the immigrant communities from Japan, China, the Philippines, and Portugal who journeyed far from their homelands in search of opportunity, ultimately laying the foundation for Kona’s coffee industry through hard work, resilience, and cultural tradition.
