A friendly reminder that farmers, ranchers and foresters in Clinch County that have suffered losses in timber, infrastructure, poultry, beef cattle, dairy cattle, milk loss, dairy feed loss, pecans, blueberries, citrus, nursery, plasticulture and bare ground practices due to Hurricane Helene may apply for assistance through the Georgia Hurricane Helene Block Grant Program. The application period opened on Monday March 16th and will continue through midnight on April 27th.

Grounds Maintenance Needed for County Buildings

The Clinch County Board of Commissioners (CCBOC) are now accepting proposals for **grounds maintenance services** at several county buildings, including:

📍 Clinch County Courthouse
📍 Probate & Magistrate Office
📍 Sheriff’s Office
📍 Woman’s Club
📍 Board of Commissioners Office
📍 Robbins Building

**Scope of Work Includes:**
✔️ Mowing
✔️ W**d eating
✔️ Hedging & edging
✔️ Raking
✔️ Cleaning flower beds
✔️ Blowing leaves from walkways & parking lots

Services will be required **once every two weeks**, and contractors must provide their own equipment.

**Proposals must include:**
• Monthly charge for services
• Years of experience
• References for similar work
• Certificates of liability & workers’ compensation coverage

🗓 **Deadline:** February 25th at 12:00 PM

Attention County Solid Waste Customers, there will be no garbage pick up tomorrow, January 1st due to the holiday. If your trash pickup day is Thursday, your pickup day will be Friday. Ryland will be running both Thursday and Friday routes on Friday. Those customers on the Thursday AND Friday routes should plan to have their cans out Thursday evening to ensure it is picked up early in the morning on Friday. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
